Charles Landry is an international authority on the use of imagination and creativity in urban change. He invented the concept of the Creative City as an urban policy tool which became a global movement and helps cities make the most of their potential by triggering inventiveness and thinking. He invented the notion of ‘The Creative Bureaucracy & its Radical Common Sense’, which book of which was co-written with Margie Caust. Other books include: ‘The Civic City in a Nomadic World’, ‘The Digitized City’, ‘Psychology & the City’. He was recently a fellow at the Robert Bosch Academy in Berlin and in collaboration with Der Tagesspiegel co-organized the Creative Bureaucracy Festival there. This concept has spread to many cities.
